STARS Prom Mixer #2
A mixer is an evening event that gives people an opportunity to meet the leadership team, make friends, mingle with other attendees, and practice dancing! We will have instruction for beginners and practice for old hats, covering swing, waltz, and salsa. Please bring a friend!

We will be having a raffle as part of our fundraising for prom. If you attend this mixer, you’ll get one ticket. If you bring a friend, you’ll get another. We’ll also have a few for sale for a suggested donation of $1 each, as well as pizza and donuts. Prizes will include a Starbucks gift card, Chick-fil-A gift card, and more!

STARRY NIGHT HOMESCHOOL PROM – ALL HOMESCHOOLERS 14+ INVITED!
With decor inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting, you are invited to an enjoyable evening of traditional dancing, to include waltz, swing, salsa, and some folk dances as well – no previous experience required! This event will take place 8:00-12:00, Thursday, June 4th, 2015, at former 1950’s amusement park and historic site Glen Echo Park. With refreshments provided by a caterer who has worked with the White House and the State Department for decades, it be a night to remember!
