Anissa has been teaching and tutoring since she was a high school sophomore. She began her formal teaching career as a high school math teacher in suburban Denver, Colorado. She has also taught GED classes, tutored a variety of high school subjects, taught elementary drama,  writing, grammar in homeschool co-ops, and most recently taught 4th-5th grade world studies & literacy, 5th grade math, and high school geometry at a local private school.  In addition to standard academics, Anissa has a great passion to communicate the deep truths of scripture in common language. She is writing a science experiment based Bible curriculum for kids and enjoys helping people develop a fuller picture of the Lord and his redemptive plan. Anissa also enjoys teaching ESL and working with immigrant and refugee communities in our local area. Lastly, Anissa occasionally loves to break into 80s dance moves and thinks that dress up days are awesome.
