I was born in Puglia, Italy (also known as the heel of the boot!) where I completed my education. I arrived in Virginia in 1998 when I got married and I have lived here since then. I have been blessed enough to have been able to go back and visit my family every other year for 2 months! I have 2 children Gabriella (15) and Alex (12) who are both homeschooled.
I have been teaching Italian as a Second Language since 2001. I started at Casa Italiana Language School in Washington D.C., where I worked for about 12 years teaching all levels of adult classes, as well as serving as the Children Program Coordinator, teaching all ages (3 to 14), and training new teachers.
Since my experience at Casa Italiana Language School, I have been teaching as an independent tutor serving several communities in the Fairfax area and running 8 successful adult classes at different levels from beginners to advanced.
This will be my 3rd year teaching at STARS, and I look forward to serving you and your children this new coming school year.
